Lille Brick & Mortar Closing

Lille Brick & Mortar Closing

Dear Friends,

It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of Lille’s brick and mortar shop for good.  We have had an amazing 13-year run thanks to your undying support, and we will be forever grateful for the relationships we have made with our amazing customers. We hope you will continue with us on our journey to recreating the in-store experience through our e-commerce platform and social media sites.  Apropos of that, we are unveiling a new look to our Instagram page and launching live chat on our website in the coming weeks. We will continue to carry fine lingerieloungewearhosiery, and accessories from beloved independent brands and offer the high level of customer service you have grown accustomed to at Lille.

We would be remiss if we did not mention current events which have had our hearts heavy and have consumed us with a sense of helplessness. “Thoughts and Prayers” and social media reposting aren’t going to make a quantifiable change. We stand in solidarity with Black Lives Matter and we are making a committed effort to make lasting change and educating ourselves on how to be better allies. We hope to use this new online-only platform to better highlight black designers in our industry, demand more diversity in representation from the vendors we carry, and strive for inclusivity and intersectional feminist representation. We hope to expand our charitable efforts and partner with like-minded retailers to highlight hard-working local entrepreneurs of diverse backgrounds on our blog. We are heartened by the positive progress that has already happened as a result of peaceful demonstrations and the foundations laid by those working tirelessly to dismantle these complex systems of oppression. We are confident this is just the beginning.

Lastly, our End of Season Sale starts now with incredible deals on the latest styles, with up to 40% off Spring ‘20 collections and up to 80% off older styles.

Please reach out to us with any questions, comments or requests for future content. Stay safe and healthy!

Warm Regards,

Sarah Wizemann
