We’re excited to announce that we have partnered with local floral designer Coy & Co. to offer beautiful and sustainable bouquet options for Valentine’s Day this year.
Coy & Co.’s florals are romantic and whimsical with a splash of modern allure — the perfect embodiment of Lille. Better yet, their focus is on sustainability, quality, and supporting those that share similar values. The international floral industry has one of the largest agricultural carbon footprints as jets full of roses are sent from Ecuador, which is crazy when you consider we are known as The City of Roses. Coy & Co. locally source all their flowers and foliage from a network of other small women-owned businesses here in Oregon. Not only does this save in unnecessary greenhouse gas emissions, but it means your flowers last longer and you get the most for your money. Beyond that, any excess product is dried for use in the winter when fresh blooms are scarce, all compost created is sent back to a local flower farm, and no single-use plastic enters or leaves the shop.
Bouquets are available for pre-order to be picked up at the shop on either Feb 13th or Feb 14th. Pre-ordering bouquets means Coy & Co. better knows how much product is needed, thus reducing excess waste at the end of the day. Bouquets start at $45.00 and can either be picked up in compostable paper or can be arranged in a vase for an extra $28.00.
Call or stop by the shop to pre-order your bouquet for Valentine’s Day!
