Halloween Inspiration: ’70s Glam

Halloween Inspiration: ’70s Glam

Do you have disco fever? Or perhaps just a love of sequins and feathered hair (or ABBA—yeah, we do too). Then you’re probably already thinking about going as a ’70s dancing queen this Halloween. We love this look because, well, who doesn’t want the opportunity to glam it up every once in a while?

For a vibe that’s more Studio 54 fabulous than musty thrift store, we recommend starting with a statement outfit. A slinky dress like the Abbyss will always work well, but don’t be afraid to go a little out there either (after all, this is the ’70s we’re talking about). Think about pairing a dramatic maxi skirt with a sparkly bodysuit (like the Frankie) or a unique halter top (the Hannah Bandeau would be amazing if you don’t mind showing a little skin). From there, it’s all about the accessories: pile on the gold jewelry, find an oversized faux fur coat, and strap on your platforms. With a little hairspray and some shimmery makeup, you’ll be set to party until the sun comes up!
