Holiday Gift Guide: Wise Mamas

Holiday Gift Guide: Wise Mamas

Being nearly 9 months pregnant, I am learning more and more about the world of maternity lingerie.  This is incredibly helpful when assisting shoppers looking for something to treat their baby mamas for the holidays.  I can advise them that soft fibers are a must, since her skin is incredibly sensitive all throughout pregnancy. I can also encourage them to go up from her usual size since she won’t want anything too constrictive when she’s trying to relax at home on the couch.  A somewhat funny tip that I gleaned from one of my pregnancy books is to opt for silky PJs like the Andrea from Princesse Tam Tam, thereby allowing for much easier tossing and turning at night, which is par for the course in pregnancy and beyond. Nursing bras like the pretty one from Belabumbum (pictured above, coming soon) are a no-brainer, but you could also opt for some nice bath & body products to encourage her to relax and unwind this holiday season. Knowing how heightened her sense of smell is, perhaps a luxurious French Candle will take the edge off of any offensive odors in your house (I’m looking at you, dogs!)  If your lovely lady is expecting or you’ve recently welcomed a little bundle of joy into your family, then check out our list of holiday gifts for Wise Mamas below…

Now in stock at our Eastside location: Amoralia Organic Cotton Nursing Bras and Panties.

The Momamia Nursing Bra by Elle Macpherson Intimates is so cute that even non-moms want to buy it.

Alpine Chic Reversible Robe—two sided to hide the stains! I have two of these and I rotate them out every other week for convenience.

Adorable and comfortable at the same time, the Sleep Chic PJs by Eberjey are a best-seller for us every year at Christmas.

When she’s living in her PJs, it’s nice to offer her something stylish that can be worn out on errands and not just in the bedroom: Skin Organic Cotton Loungewear is your best bet.

Happy holidays, and congratulations on your family addition!
