Skin Trunk Show

Skin Trunk Show

We hope you will join us at our Eastside Lille location next Friday, October 18, from 5pm to 8pm, for an exclusive Trunk Show for NYC luxury loungewear label, Skin. Featuring styles from the latest collections, including ready-to-wear pieces that are not typically available anywhere in Portland, this will be a prime opportunity to get familiar with a world-renowned brand that was recently cited as one of Oprah’s favorite things.  A 10% storewide discount will be offered during the event, and all customers who make a purchase will be entered into a raffle for an amazing Skin prize, which will be announced at the end of the evening. Kirsten Basso, International Sales Director for the brand, will be in attendance to show us all the best ways to style their versatile garments.

Skin was founded in 2003 by Susan Beischel, who grew up in Wisconsin with an appreciation for natural beauty and the environment. Since its inception, she has successfully grown the loungewear company into a global lifestyle brand that includes lingerie, accessories and clothing. Skin is widely recognized for its use of soft, natural fibers, including organic pima cotton, and its sophisticated, versatile silhouettes that can be worn to sleep, to lunch and to go from day to night with ease.  Drawing inspiration from the natural world, the collection appeals to the senses with comfortable fabrics and refined lines.

The ladies at Skin don’t believe that consumers should have to choose between sustainability and fashion. They work hard to offer a holistic product reflecting their vision of environmental responsibility and social fairness.  Skin accomplishes this goal by creating their own ultra-soft fabrics, using certified organic pima cotton on a vast majority of their collection, and using low-impact dyes with all ingredients certified by gots, the global organic textile standards.  This sentiment resonates with Sarah Wizemann, owner of Lille, whose goal is to provide women with comfortable, flattering lingerie and loungewear from independent designers who manufacture in ethically and environmentally-friendly ways, without sacrificing good design in the process.  We hope you will join us for this exciting event!
