50 Shades of Kink

50 Shades of Kink

We must confess, we have not even cracked the cover of “50 Shades of Grey,” the soft-core BDSM novel that is sweeping the nation. Though it may be effective at getting housewives hot and bothered, the few excerpts we read online made us cringe in horror at the writing style, and seeing as how we can barely find the time to read good literature, much less mediocre Twilight Fan Fiction, it is not on our summer reading list. That being said, we are 100% sex-positive here at Lille, regardless of orientation, kink, or persuasion, and we love the fact that the book is opening up a dialogue about sexuality and desire in the Repressed States of America.  Still, we would encourage you to look into a higher caliber of erotica, if that’s your thing: try Delta of Venus by Anais Nin, Lady Chatterley’s Lover by D.H. Lawrence, or Fanny Hill by John Cleland.

While we’re not really a typical lingerie store in that we focus on comfort, and we do not carry pasties, “sexy” costumes, or even sex toys, (we leave that to the fine ladies at She Bop!) we do carry a wide selection of boudoir accessories by the French brand Maison Close.  These items are some of our best sellers, especially around the holidays, so we can barely keep them in stock, but we just received a huge shipment from their 50 Shades of Grey collection, so stop by soon to add a little kink to your lingerie drawer!

Great post, thanks for sharing. What a collection this is, all the items shown look stunning. I especially love the Les Coquetteries back-seamed stockings. The effect 50 shades of grey appears to be having on the lingerie industry is great with women looking to be a bit more adventurous than normal after reading the book. While I have not read the book and have heard both good and bad points about it, I applaud it on its ability to persuade couples to spice things up a little.
