We just received our first shipment of lovely and affordable lingerie from Belabumbum (pronounced Bela-boom-boom, which is Portuguese for beautiful bottom.) At the desperate urging of several new mothers, I was on the hunt for pretty maternity bras made of natural fibers during my last market trip. Turns out that is no small feat! Most nursing bras are hideously ugly, padded, bland, tan-colored contraptions that are sure to make you feel even less sexy that you probably already do, given the nature of pregnancy and the toll it takes on your figure. I was thrilled to stumble upon this woman-owned company that focuses on soft, comfortable basics and even has an organic line! In addition to a few cotton nursing bras, we also received a wide assortment of their bamboo lingerie (non-maternity) and some cute lacy sets that resemble Eberjey’s wildly popular Delirious range. The price point is very reasonable, ranging from $18 to $44, so I’m sure these will become a staple at Lille!
