Gatsby Peach

Gatsby Peach

I have a new Gatsby Gown in the store – good timing too! I’m pleased to report that the last one sold over Valentine’s weekend.  The Gatsby Peach has a sort of Blanche DuBois air about it – a touch of the antiquated southern belle, but perhaps a bit more fresh and youthful.  The cotton/silk material has such a lovely weight to it – heavier than silk chiffon, but softer than linen.  It’s the perfect summer gown for sitting on the porch, sipping lemonade on a hot night.  I used hand-dyed vintage lace on the bodice and at the waist, with pleats at the sides to accommodate a variety of hip sizes (fits about a 0-4.)  A few more photos…
